I Have Been Having Itching On The Sides Of My

I have been having itching on the sides of my buttocks, down the side of my hip/ upper thigh area with no sign of rash, redness or irritation. This has been ongoing for a couple of weeks now. What could be the cause? There have been no new changes medically, or environmentally and no stressors that could attribute to this. It it becoming very frustrating. Any thoughts or suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thank you
