I Have Been Having Left Lower Abdominal Soreness Off And

I have been having left lower abdominal soreness off and on for about 6 weeks with a low grade fever. I went to my doctor and she put me on cipro which helped for about 3 weeks now without low-grade fever. Yesterday, I developed a low grade fever and left abdominal soreness again. Do you think it could be diverticulitis?
