I Have Been Having Pain (burning) In Left Breast Below

I have been having pain (burning) in left breast below nipple towards the outside of breast. I am scheduled for a couple of tests tomorrow. Is burning a normal characteristic? I have had a lumpectomy on right breast with atypical cells. Just curious.
