I Have Been Having Pain In My Left Groin Area

I have been having pain in my left groin area which travels down my leg (halfway) . I had a full hip replacement 3 years ago. When I sit, then get to stand, the pain shooting down the front of my leg does not allow me to move until the pain passes, then I limp for a short period. This also wakes me at night when I go to move positions. Also have pain in the groin area.
