I Have Been Having Problems With My Vagina Being Very

I have been having problems with my vagina being very swollen and tender. My period ended 3 days ago and I attempted to have sex with my husband twice since and had to stop due to serious pain and it being swollen.
I know I do not have an std. Is there anything at the drug store I could purchase to decrease the pain and tenderness?
