I Have Been Having Recurring Headaches And Odd, Unexplained Joint

I have been having recurring headaches and odd, unexplained joint and muscle pain. This is very unusual for me. For two days, I'd had a mild fever.

We live in TX. There is STILL a small patch of wet carpet that became soaked two weeks ago during one of the frequent downpours. My landlord, out of town, will check on it next week...Could mold and mildew cause these symptoms?
