I Have Been Having Recurring Pain In My Lower Right

I have been having recurring pain in my lower right abdomen for over a year. I am female, 71, overweight but healthy in general. Both my GP and gynecologist seemed uninterested, but I feel something is causing it and I'd like to know what. The pain is sharp but not severe, recurs once or twice a week on average, and gets better if I lie down. I've also had changes in bladder and bowel functions -- just different, like a feeling of not smoothly emptying my bladder. I also feel fatigued, but that could just be old age creeping up. Should I be screened for ovarian cancer, and what kind of doctor would I need to see? Thanks.
