I Have Been Having Ringing In My Left Ear For

I have been having ringing in my left ear for about the last 3 years, mostly nonstop. I had cervical spine surgery in 2011, I think that has something to do with it. Sometimes my ear is just ringing sounds and sometimes it's a whooshing sound. Lately I have had pressure in the ear and feeling a little dizzy. I went to several specialists to no avail. They said that some people have tinnitus and have to love with it. But I think mine it has to be something else wrong.
