I Have Been Having Sharp Pains Going Across My Back

I have been having sharp pains going across my back and into my chest. They checked out my heart and it is fine. They bought it might be acid reflux so they ordered an endoscopy and a clones copy. The colonoscopy shows diverticulosis of mild severity. I don't have a problem with constipation - I am very regular. Also, I had my gallbladder emoted in 1999. Someone told me that you can have those kinds of pains even f you ont have a gallbladder. Any suggestions as to what t might be! Thank you.
