I Have Been Having Throbbing In My Lungs And A

I have been having throbbing in my lungs and a bad infection over new year for over 8 months now. After two chest x rays the hospital informed my doctor Gremalon has been present for 7 years. After my recent infection the doctor has referred me to the respiratory depth at the hospital. This is not for 8 weeks however
The throbbing is on both sides of the top of my chest now. I have been a singer for 30 years have never smoked. Passive before smoking ban.
On stage now I am having to miss out words to take a breath breathless and feel very clogged at top of lungs. This gunk will not move with hard coughing. I have been given a ventolin inhaler which helps slightly.
I do not want to keep mithering my gp yet this is affecting my job and I am hurting and as I have said my next app us not for 8 weeks.
Would you have any ideas please.
