I Have Been Having Tingling In My Left Hand And

I have been having tingling in my left hand and fingers along with indigestion/ belching for several weeks now. I do have acid reflux and s hiatal hernia but this is a different feeling. No chest pain, but an odd feeling in the left side of my upper chest and under my left jaw. I am a 68 year old woman, have diabetes and high cholesterol. If I take a tums it seems to help. I don't want to be paranoid, but is this something to be concerned about?
