I Have Been Injecting Lantus For 2 Years. I Started

I have been injecting Lantus for 2 years. I started with 10 units and have increased it over time. Now taking 43 units once a day. For the last 2 weeks I have been getting hives? I have looked at my lifestyle: clothing, food I eat, detergents, soaps, etc. Nothing is different that I can think of. Could I have become allergic to lantus?
