I Have Been On 40 Mg Of Protonix For 3

I have been on 40 mg of protonix for 3 weeks. I had some headaches first week. I reported this to my doctor; he said if they continued he'd have to place me on another med. Then, the next week they subsided. Now the third week my head is worse and I am dizzy. I sent a message to him last Thursday. I only heard that he received my message. I sent another message today. I am in Louisiana and he is in Houston. Should I just get off this medicine? I am on it due to bad reflux of food back into my esophagus from my stomach.
