I Have Been On 50mg 0f Losartin For About 3

I have been on 50mg 0f Losartin for about 3 weeks and my blood pressure was still high so my doctor told me to double the med. I did this and was totally drained, so I started to take 50 in the am and 50 in the pm, since I already had the 50mg tablets, and feel better. When I get the 100 mg pills, can I split them?
