I Have Been On Xoralta For 12 Months Since I

I have been on Xoralta for 12 months since I had a pulmonary embolism that occurred as a result of a DVT behind my right knee. My doc said after a year I would come off of the Xoralta but now wants to put me on Plavix. I have held off on knee surgery as well as spinal injections at great pain waiting to come off of the Xoralta. Two questions, what is the difference between Xoralta and Plavix and why is one better than the other for me. and secondly Am I going to have the same issues with having other procedures on the Plavix?
