I Have Been On A Pain Pump For Three Years

I have been on a pain pump for three years now for severe back pain from spondolesthesisI had fusion last year and now I am on the dose possible and plan to have removed in the next 2 months. Each time I have a
decrease I go through a miserable withdrawel. Can I expect this when it is removed.? Thanks
