I Have Been On Acid Reflux Medicine For At Least

I have been on acid reflux medicine for at least 20 years. Recently I have heard that it can cause multiple health problems. I was going to try and wean off of it but decided to just stop. I am nauseated, bloated and some night the acid gets up into my throat--sometimes during the day. I chew a couple Rolaids before going to bed.
