I Have Been On An Insulin Pump For Several Years.

I have been on an insulin pump for several years. It is time for a new pump and now because I am 71 they are requiring 30 days of sticks 4times a day and a c peptide test.. If the tests aren't approved and I don't get a new pump what happens? Do they just let you die? Once you get to be a senior the rules seem to change. Not to mention I am on my third pump.
