I Have Been On Opioid Therapy For 6 Years.I Tried

I have been on opioid therapy for 6 years.I tried every option from steroid epidurals to tens and had severe side effects and no relief from any.Can't take insaids.Rrecently went to V.A.(lost insurance) The V.A. seems to be very paranoid about opiates despite all of my prior M.D.s speaking to thm,sending MRI copies.Is there any reason for this or anything I can do about it.
