I Have Been On Thyroid Rx For 10 Yrs Now

I have been on thyroid Rx for 10 yrs now and not long after starting the Rx I started feeling as if there were a swollen spot or lump inside of my esophagus. There is nothing that can be felt with a hand or that can be seen. I asked my Dr and it keeps getting put off for another time. I also deal with a lot of sinus issues which cause a cough. I'm not sure if it is all related or not...my main concern is this feeling of something being stuck in my throat off and on for the last 10 yrs.
