I Have Been Prescribed Candibiotic For Earache With Pus And

I have been prescribed Candibiotic for earache with pus and also fullnes in hear (unable to hear). I have loudcracking sound in ear . It has being going on for 4 days now. I have heard that Candibiotic makes otis media more severe if there is no fungus.Is that right? What could my problem be. I have yellowish discharge coming out at night, which sometimes is clear.The doc has removed some discharge from my ear and he told me there is fungal infection.
