I Have Been Prescribed Levaquin And I Am 64 Years

I have been prescribed Levaquin and I am 64 years old with elevated liver enzymes. I also take Lipitor and Pepcid on a regular basis. I have severe sore throat and chest pain with 100 degree temp. I am concerned about the side effect of Levaquin for someone my age and wondering if I should as my doctor for a different antibiotic?
