I Have Been Prescribed Rapaflo, What Exactly Does It Do?

I have been prescribed Rapaflo, what exactly does it do? I am already having problems controlling my bladder and have had a couple of accidents involving holding back the urine. Does this new med relax my bladder more, cause if it does, I dont want to take it and have more problems controlling my bladder/ hold ing back urine.
