I Have Been Prescribed Nystatin For A Condition With My

I have been prescribed nystatin for a condition with my tongue presumable thrush. I looked up pictures online and I don't think I have thrush. My tongue has an orange yellow film towards the back of my throat. I also have difficulty breathing in through my nose. My question is, if I take this nystatin (antifungal) and I don't actually have thrush, can or will it cause problems? I'm contacting you through my wife's email address. I'm Phillip.
