I Have Been Prescribed This Drug For A Shot In

I have been prescribed this drug for a shot in my hip...This is my first shot - I have arthritis between mild - 7 on a scale of 1-10. I walk a lot due to my job and sometimes I can hardly walk, it seems to be an off and on type of thing...I hurt for several months and then it eases for several months and then back again...I picked up the drug today for a shot Wednesday morning and began to read the side effects...Wow! this appears to be some serious stuff with major side effects...My sister just died several weeks ago from sugar diabetes, my oldest brother and younger sister both have diabetes...I am border-line at 100 - 101, with an AC 3 (I think it's called) of 5.7 - 5.8...How is this going to effect my sugar...
