I Have Been Receiving Chemotheraphy On And Off For 6

I have been receiving chemotheraphy on and off for 6 years for ovarian stage 4 cancer. I have a port in my chest and normally use that. I am on every other week infusion of Gemzar, carboplatin and avastin. I have a schedule of every two weeks for infusion. Four weeks ago my port would not clear so they went ahead and infused me through my arm. She mentioned that it seemed like she blew the vein but apparently it was okay as she was able to finish all the drugs. Days after the lump was there but was not sore to the touch. Now it seems to be very sore to the touch and quite pronounced. I will be going back this week for my bloodwork this Friday and can have them check it then unless it should be looked at sooner.
