I Have Been Skiing In Boots That I Think May

I have been skiing in boots that I think may be too small for me. both of my big toenails turned purple and blue and I didn't want to look at them so I painted them. Today I took the paint off and my nails are white, and my left nail has clear fluid coming from under it. What is this?
