I Have Been Speaking To An Adict On 160 Ml

I have been speaking to an adict on 160 ml of methadone a day and also takes 18x 300 mg of gabapentin daily. He is slowly reducing methadone and wants to reduce his gavapentin. He wont go to a doctor as its non-prescription . Is there a safe reduction he can make?
