I Have Been Suffering From Chronic Pain, Spasms And Drawn

I have been suffering from chronic pain, spasms and drawn up fingers during the spasms in my right wrist, first digit and second digit areas. It has migrated to my elbow and up my arm to my right shoulder making it feel like a pinched nerve (on top of shoulder near neck) and tennis elbow symptoms.
I have been in a brace for 3 months. This past week I had a nerve conduction study showing no carpal tunnel. The orthopedic doctor feels that this is simply a case of mild tendinitis. I have asked 3x for an MRI and have yet to have my request granted. I'm a mother of 4 very active boys in sports, a wife of a veteran with his own set of issues I help care for and a full time radiology student 2nd year. I need to know what I can do at home to help with the chronic pain and radiating pain. I do not do pain medication, didn't even have any while giving birth, but I'm at my whits-end. I have to be able to keep up while taking notes, homework, etc. I'm a sponge so please, suggest away......
