I Have Been Suffering From Itchy Skin For 6mos Now.

I have been suffering from itchy skin for 6mos now. Since I moved into this new place. My head stings at times and I feel like things are crawling on me. Been to dermatologist she's given me creams but it doesn't help. I feel run down scared to go anywhere. Researching seems to say mites but took cat to get today and she didn't have any. So now I'm not sure what my next steps are. Semiologist hasn't taken any skin tests and this is really annoying me
