I Have Been Suffering From Progressively Intensifying Chronic Pain. It
I have been suffering from progressively intensifying chronic pain. It began as a typically described sciatica pain along my right side (radiating from deep in my right glute) and mid- to lower back. Over time, my big toes have become completely numb and my legs have experienced more and more pain (particularly the right one). The pain varies among an INTENSE burning sensation, throbbing, shooting, tightness, tingling, and complete numbness in my upper right leg in front. That area is extremely sensitive to light touch or even clothing against it. This all started at age 18 and am now almost 31 and have been out of work (and thus without health insurance) for 3 years due to being physically unable to tolerate any sitting or standing position for any length of tine without being in excruciating pain. I have applied for Medicaid and disability at Social Security but have been denied several times. My quality of life frankly sucks and has affected my will to even live in a positive mindset to achieve any goals realistically. I truly need advice on what to do!
