I Have Been Suffering With Moderate To Severe Itching And

I have been suffering with moderate to severe itching and burning around the anal area and between the buttocks for about a month now. There is no bleeding and it comes and goes. Especially at night but it happens all hours. I had a colonoscopy in January and was told I have internal hemorrhoid and soft spots in the colon. Diverticulitis I think. I have been trying preparation h and at the Drs. suggestion Desitin creme and even cortisone 10. I can't see any thing wrong by looking in the mirror. It is not painful to have a bowel movement. I am 61 yrs old and at my last checkup everything was normal except for slightly high glucose and cholesterol levels. Slightly enlarged prostrate but no indication of any problems
