I Have Been Taken 20 Mugs Of Prilosec For More

I have been taken 20 mugs of Prilosec for more than ten yrs. with Metamucil . Am I getting the full benefit ?
Also I was asked to cut tablet in half. This bothers my stomach . I really want to get off since all the info is now out . Really bad side effects , heart, renal and cancer
