I Have Been Takin Ibuprofen 800mg At Night And 600mg

I have been takin ibuprofen 800mg at night and 600mg in the morning to manage my pain from ankle surgery, I was going to have an ankle replacement but the doctor said my glucose levels were too high. I just had ankle surgery in may 2015 and another in November 2015. My pain level is at about 7, he told me that the bone is not healing, could all this factor into high glucose levels?
