I Have Been Taking 1/2 A Tablet Of 25mg Zoloft

I have been taking 1/2 a tablet of 25mg Zoloft for 7 days. I am supposed to go up to the full 25mg dose tomorrow. The side effects today have been horrible. I would like to stop for now until I see my doctor. Because I have just started and the dose was low, can I just stop or should I take a quarter tablet tomorrow?
