I Have Been Taking 200mg Of Flecainide For About 2

I have been taking 200mg of flecainide for about 2 months now. I am scheduled to start taking Tekosyn this coming Monday morning in the hospital. I was told by my doctors nurse to STOP taking the flecainide on the 19th. My question I guess is...Isn't it dangerous to just stop taking this heart rhythm medicine abruptly?
