I Have Been Taking Atacand 32 Mg For Many Years

I have been taking Atacand 32 mg for many years now for elevated BP (Approx 150/75). My new doctor has put me on Physiotens as well now (only 2mg) so that my BP can come down further. (I am also on daily Diltiazem for an occasional irregular heart beat,)
I have found however, than rather than my BP coming down, it has in fact gone up by about 20 pts. 170+/80+
Can there be a contraindication between these drugs?
