I Have Been Taking Clonidine For Two Years. Not For

I have been taking Clonidine for two years. Not for high blood pressure but for withdrawal symptoms from stopping vicodin. I haven't had any vicodin since I started the Clonidine. I messed up one dose of Clonidine two days ago. My BP bottomed out 62/40. It was a horrible weak feeling. I couldn't catch my breath and my chest is pounding trying to push out enough air is exhausting. I am miserable. I didn't take it yesterday. My BP went up to 139/90. The nurse said to start the Clonidine today. It was even worse. She said to go to the ER, but I didn't think they could do anything so I stayed home. I wish I had gone. Today was awful. It has been 12 bours. It is finally starting to get easier to breathe. Should I just stop the Clonidine completely? I don't ever want to go through the low BP again. I also have a stent in my LAD and Micro Vessel Disease. Lots of chest pain every day. I am allergic to the nickel in the stent. They cannot remove it. I got fed up and started taking short walks in the morning. I am determined to build up my stamina to help the constant chest pain. Could the walking change how the Clonidine works? Thanks.
