I Have Been Taking Synthroid 88MCG For A Couple Of

I have been taking Synthroid 88MCG for a couple of years now. I recently had my blood work done and the doctor called in my prescription. When I paid for it, it seemed pretty cheap and when I got home I opened the bag and it says Levothyroxin 88 MCG. Is this just a generic form?
