I Have Been Taking Xeralto For About 2 Years To

I have been taking Xeralto for about 2 years to treat two episodes of DVT. Through blood test I was found to have a slight protein C deficiency. I see in this website there are protein c medications. Is there a better med to take? Should I consider a new blood test? Thank you
