I Have Been Taking Actonel For 15 Months Afgter Three

I have been taking actonel for 15 months afgter three crush fractures in my spine which were caused by the necessity to take Prednisolone for 15 years. It is now 20 months since my back problems and through that time have suffered severe pain in my back as well as in my abdomen. The abdominal pain doesn't get much better. Sometimes I think it is slightly better but then it is very painful again. Several times I have had severe abdominal cramps, not at all related to diorrahea. The paoin feels like my internal muscles have collapsed or 'come adrift. particularly in the area under my ribs. The doctors put me on pain patches for 15 months for the back pain, which made no difference at all to the pain. I have tried hydrotherapy, a lot of walking (which has made it worse) and exercise physiotherapy for 6 months.

I have read the possible side effects in this site and see that some of the side effects I am experiencing could be caused by the Actonel. Do you have any suggestions?advice? The quality of my life is very diminished. I am 75 years old, female.
