I Have Been Taking Hydroxeura For Polycythemia Vera For Many

I have been taking hydroxeura for polycythemia vera for many years. I also drink about 2 glasses of red wine almost every night. should I stop drinking the wine? it seems to keep my HCT at about 41.
What foods should I eat? I'm 71 this November and my oncologist/hematologist passed away and I'm seeing my primary doctor for treatment.
