I Have Been Taking Penicillin For The Past 9 Days

I have been taking penicillin for the past 9 days as prescribed by my doctor. And i have been having extra discharge and itching and some burning from my vagina. How long does this side effect last? And do i need to take something to make it stop or will it stop on its own?
