I Have Been Taking Xanax For About A Month But

I have been taking xanax for about a month but only maybe two times a week, whenever I need them. I notice that if I take them, they make my hunger lessen but the next day or so when I haven't taken one, I'm EXTREMELY HUNGRY. It will be an hour after eating and I'll get hungry and jittery and weak. Can xanax cause this extreme hunger for days after?
