I Have Been Throwing Up After Meals For The Past

I have been throwing up after meals for the past half year on and off but have been doing so every night for the past few days. Today I threw up a lot of blood and I am now having sharp chest pains. The root of the bleeding is not my mouth, I have checked. I am aware there is a lot of possibilities what could be wrong but have you any idea what could possibly be wrong or can I have your opinion before I see I doctor?
