I Have Been To See My Out Of Hours GP

I have been to see my out of hours GP this evening as I have lumps in my lymph nodes on both sides of my neck. Have had a sore throat for the last two weeks and he has stated that there are two lumps on the left side of my neck and a further one on the right side of my neck. He has prescribed antibiotics and has said all being well it should clear within a week or so. I am aware that infection causes this issue but is it something I should be worried about.
