Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have been told by a doctor that I have Raynaud's and I think I have had frost bite years ago on my toes. Several toes are swollen at the top edge where they press against another toe and the nail is pushing into the flesh. They are inflamed and get cold easily. I have been taking Advil to reduce inflammation and every two or three days I soak my feet in warm water with Epsom Salts. Every morning I rub on Lotil cream foot lotion. I wear prescribed orthotics and buy shoes that are bigger than my feet and wide to accommodate and not cause pressure. And, of course try not to let them get cold. I live in Maine. What else should I be doing?
