I Have Been Told By My Eye Doctor That My

I have been told by my eye doctor that my lower eye lid is causing my eye to continually water. He actually tweezed a few eye lashes today and my eye is not watering since. Me had suggested that I see a specialist to have my entropion repaired. My question is instead of surgery could I just tweeze my lower eyelid lashes every now and then?
