I Have Been Told That I Have A Cyst On

I have been told that I have a cyst on my right ovary and multiple endometriosis (not very sure what that is). I have pelvic pain almost all day. I have been ordered to see a specialist by my family doctor today. Would a situation in my case appear to be serious or really a common condition?
