Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have been told that my eustachian tubes in both ears are open too much. The ENT's said there is nothing they can do for me. They tried steroids and iodine drops and hormone drops. I have suffered this for over 30 years. The symptoms are not all the time and sometimes it is my right ear, other times it's the left and sometimes it is both ears. To me it feels like fluid behind the ear drum causing sound to be muffled and louder in my head. Sometimes there a feeling of a lot of pressure. If I put my head down I will get relief but it comes back when I lift my head up. Is there no solution to this problem?
